It seems in today's world we always look to the past for answers to the insurmountable questions we are faced with today. Most of the time we are unhappy with answers that we may get in today's looking glass America. We can no longer look to the future for these answers. The future looks like a scary place, without reanable, steadfast explanations. And no one likes to be scared. So we look back to the future. At that point we just close our eyes and hope for the best. Meaning let someone else figure it out. We need to find our own answers today, because history may show that we gave up on ourselves, love, and our neighbors. Most of all America and God. In the 1970's many people like myself were intoxicated with the music of the Moody Blues. I haven't lost the addiction for their unique sound. But it was the lyrics that still resonate with me to this day. I can't get them out of my head. I am so ever grateful for that, since dementia usually only destroys our short term memory, thank God for his genius. One of my most favorite songs was, without a doubt, Question (video). The words written in all their songs delivered messages we can live by to this day, tomorrow, and into a future of uncertainty. The music, magical and mystical, echoed voices of pure harmony to soothe both the heart and soul. "I'm looking for, someone to change my life, I'm looking for, a miracle in my life". Sound like words hanging around in your head right now? They are in mine and I have found an Angel that has changed my life.
We are just too distracted by the meaningless drivel from the media, and the mindless trash coming out of Hollywood. We need to think for ourselves. They are delivering this trash like it was a giant Hershey bar, while we devour every bite of it. Never getting enough. They should be delivering up baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet, sweetening the apple pie with good old fashioned common sense. We need to set out for the back roads and the simple life before it's too late. The simple truth is, there are too many people in this country buying into this false sense of what is right and what is wrong in our lives. Never taking the time or responsibility to seek the facticity. Just use the consensus theory of truth, you can't go wrong. Come on, we all know right from wrong. Sometimes the truth is hard too hard to swallow.
The bottom line is this. If what you really want is a miracle and someone to change your life, my advice to you is - bring the peace or get out and find it. If you really want peace, love, and prosperity in America, go out and find someone to love.
Besides, life itself is the ultimate miracle if you seek it. Are you at that threshold? I know I am.
